I have been working on lots of new artwork lately and concentrating on creating rather than selling- but now I could use a little help. Today on Folksy I listed a painting in a vintage frame of the little garden bumble I drew. I feel that my Folksy shop looks a bit 'bitty' and I would like to have more of a consistency to it. I could do with some feedback on the work I have been doing lately before I charge down the route I have in mind. Would you consider buying original artwork? are you happy with a print? do you like the mix of original art with vintage frames? any feedback would be most appreciated.
I absolutely love it and was considering asking you to do one a drawing for me. The fact that I don't have to go to the effort of framing it myself is even more of a bonus!! Have you seen the place next to the Cupar Farm shop? I was desperate for a nosey but had the kids with me!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the positive comments, I'm not sure whats next to the farm shop- I dont think I noticed, last time I was down I charged in and out again without paying to much attention to round about- is it an arty shop?
ReplyDeleteIf you come out the farm shop and turn left on the left hand side before the road is a fabulous looking wee gallery/frame shop. Only opened at the weekends so I haven't had a child free chance to nip in yet!
ReplyDeleteI especially love the wee house pic by the way!
ReplyDeleteI'll have a look :0) sounds good
ReplyDeleteI wish you lots of luck. I have to be honest these are not my sort of thing but I do think being able to buy it and it be framed already are a very good idea.
ReplyDeleteI hope it all goes well. xxxxx
i love your art and would definitely buy some if i had the bunce, the frames don't really interest me though
ReplyDeleteI love your art, "we are unique" is just beautiful! I think I would be more inclined to just buy a print rather than framed work, definitely my style though xx
