This is my first Folksy Friday for a long time but I had a few shops I really wanted to share with you. Very friendly sellers with some stunning items of great quality on sale. Have a look round their shops- I've just picked a few of my favourite items with a knit and crochet theme.
This week I thought I would base my Folksy Friday on a shop local theme. Local for me now is St Andrews/East Fife/Dundee area. I think all of the shops I have included are based around these areas. For the group I really just picked a few of the things I quite fancy myself.
(just a little update since I posted this Folksy Friday, if you are interested in the zine in Lauren Gentrys shop please go through Nikki McWilliams (click the digestive). I never noticed at the time but Gentry Illustrations is on holiday mode, whoops.
This weeks Folksy Friday was a little experiment I carried out through the Folksy forums. I asked for people to post their sunshine yellow items just to see how the group would look without me choosing the items like I normally do. Looks pretty bloomin' good I'd say.
I used Haptrees Treasury Template again but added an extra two boxes- I use the template every week and would be lost without it- you can find it on Craft Blog UK.
This week I thought I would go for a holiday theme (I just got back from Centre Parcs in Whinfell, Cumbria this morning- it seemed quite appropriate). I have chosen some of the animals we saw while we were away, nothing beats looking out your backdoor and seeing ducks walking by or a deer in the forest.
